From one of the ukiyo-e prints by Katsushika Hokusai, in which he chose unusual bridges in Japan as the subject matter, I came up with an idea. The Edo period and the present day cross each other in this optical illusion. By mixing the real stairs and the wall painting, it looks like people of the present age walk around in the world of ukiyo-e.
