This digital representation of triangles I reconstructed is based on an ink wash painting by the master swordsman, Miyamoto Musashi. He painted a shrike, which is a prefectural bird of Osaka, on a dead branch in the painting. I have expressed the past by painting the base of a branch in monochrome, and the top painted in color means the future. The color changes gradually so that this shrike is about to fly from the past to the future.
